  Together with a friend I called the hotel because we were looking for farm work, a nice place to stay and transportation to the farm(s). We told them that we wanted to come in two days and they found work for us one day after we arrived! Every day they drove us to work and back. When we wanted to go to Woolworths in Atherton they drove us there. Staff was very nice and helped us with every problem we had. They even gave every couple/ group their own room.

  Good food and country pub vibe, was here for the Tablelands Folk Festival, was a really great time.

  i ate here with my husband, and i could not believe how appalling the food was, you guys are charging a decent price for terrible meals, the salad made me laugh, i mean come on did you even cut those lettuce up?? lack in flavour lack in experience in the kitchen and care factor... i get its old run down building old school whatever but if that's the case, make sure your food is up there, time to hire some younger people those older staff should be home enjoying retirement not serving in a pub!!

  Had dinner at the pub last night with friends. The meals were appalling and very over priced, $20 for a Caesar salad that was sent back twice as it was inedible. Soggy croutons , very little Caesar dressing , the chicken was processed and vile.

  The rump steaks were tough and full of grizzle and served without a steak knife The vegetables clearly came from a tin! Even the chips were over cooked!
